I Need Advice!

I'm not posting a story just yet, but I need advice on writing one.

I wrote a ton about a family with nine kids living in New Hampshire on a farm. I'm so happy with all the characters and everything, but I haven't worked out a plot. What plot would be exciting for a family setting? Do any of you guys have ideas? If so, please say what they are in the comment box. This would really help me.

Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm... plots can be tricky, I know!

Lets see:

There could be a bad, fire, storm, flood, etc, and they need to rebuild most everything, and/or help their neighbors rebuild.

Some of the kids could get lost and run into all sorts of adventures, that way.

Some of them, or all of them, go visit their family or friends in the city.

They could become friends with Indians.

You could set your story during a war, such as the civil war. That way you could send their father and/or brother off to be a solider. And you could write about all the sacrifices they have to make.

You could make a them become friends with a newly emagrinted family. And they could help the family learn the American ways.

I'll think of some more if these don't work! As you can see, once I really think, I can come up with lots of ideas!

Good luck!

How about The farm go's bad for any reason, such as a drought, or the great depression, and they have to be separated, they all do their best to get back together, in the end they do, bringing newly found orphan friends and or loved one's,
Hope I help!
If it doesn't work out for you or anybody else, I might use it, except I like writing about different stuff.
